“Our program involved all of our students. If you missed it, you truly missed a blessing. Our Pre-K students opened the program with singing, and then each of our K-8th grade classes sung songs interspersed in the Middle School performance of “Don’t Stop the Play.”

Mrs. Sirles’ 3rd grade students made a video of a news reporter interviewing eye witness accounts during the time of the Resurrection to prove that Jesus rose from the dead. Our Middle School’s video, which asked PCA students about our Christ, who and what He did, was also presented.

The climatic ending was our Dance Ministry presentation of “We Shall Behold Him!”

We are Family! This year’s talent show saw an extended family approach unlike previous years. Whether it was the beautiful song of worship, sung in a cappella by Mr. & Mrs. Gray, or the media based pony riding demonstration by Kendall and her grandmother, we were all reminded that we are brothers and sisters in Christ.

Thank you students for sharing your wonderful talents and gifts with your classmates.

The first meeting to further develop Providence Christian Academy athletics, took place on Monday, March 5, 2012. Fred and Annie Beebe introduced efforts to develop a framework of organized athletics.

PCA currently provides after school instruction in the areas of fencing and tennis. (See PCA Clubs section for descriptions). The meeting included a discussion of the current involvement of our students in the following organizations: USTA, Upward basketball, football, cheerleading, and Scott County Parks & Rec programs. Considerations were made to expand and grow clubs and competitive sports through joining existing organizations that would aid in the implementation of PCA athletics. Other areas of interest range from establishing an Athletic Department Handbook and designing logos for T-shirts.

Providence Christian Academy is researching the necessary steps required to develop a track program, with possible future offerings such as basketball and volleyball. If you have any questions or suggestions for PCA Athletics, Fred and Annie Beebe can be reached at abeebe@roadrunner.com
