Overview:
Cross Country is a highly competitive individual and team sport that is open to all PCA students in grades K-9 who meet eligibility requirements set forth in the PCA Handbook.

Commitment:
Practices begin in late summer and are held two times per week. Cross Country season runs from August until November. The team travels throughout the region and participates in competitive meets on most Saturdays during Cross Country season. Student athletes are required to attend at least 80% of practices and competitive meets. Students who will be absent from practice must make prior arrangements with the coach.

Students in grades K-5 are required to run 1500-2000 meters during competitions while grades 6-9 run 3000-4000 meters.

Cost of participation is $50; however, other fees may be incurred throughout the season.

Practices:
Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
There will be a few Saturday practices, and most meets will be on Saturday mornings. All practices are located at Scott County Park, next to the tennis courts.
