Application Process
- Complete and return the application, along with the $50.00 application fee.*
- Schedule an academic screening for your child.
- Receive a prompt admissions decision. Keep in mind that the decision process is both
confidential and final. In addition, a minimum number of students are needed in order
to support a class. (This minimum is determined by the Administration.)
- Submit final paperwork if your child is accepted and enrolled: a copy of your child's
birth certificate, immunization records, and $150.00 first semester curriculum fee.
Students whose fifth (5th) birthday is on or before October 1 are eligible to apply for Kindergarten. Students applying for first grade must have their sixth (6th) birthday on or before October 1. Age does not necessarily determine grade level placement.
While test scores are not the sole criteria for admission, they are of great significance to us in determining proper educational placement as well as signaling any needed intervention. PCA is not equipped to handle students with serious learning disabilities, physical limitations, behavioral/social/emotional trouble or significant deficiencies in academic performance. To help us determine if this is a beneficial educational environment for your child, we appreciate your assistance by answering the questions on the application as candidly as possible.
* Through May, applications may be mailed to the
PCA office or hand-delivered on Monday
through Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. In the summer months, please return all
applications via postal mail.
