Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with Minor in Business from Georgetown College

Experience:

After graduating, I worked as a teacher's aide in the Scott County School System while I waited for a local teaching position to become available. Then, my oldest daughter was born and I felt led to stay home with her. I stayed home until I accepted my position with PCA.

Interesting Fact:

One of my favorite places to be is at the lake in Michigan where my grandparents live. While there, I love to inner-tube behind the neighbors speed boat. A couple of summers ago, I was kicked in the face by my husband and my nose was broken (ouch)! He promised it was an accident, and I still tube regardless of the PAINFUL memory! :)

Brief Biography:

I was born in Battle Creek, Michigan but moved to Georgetown at the age of six. My husband, Robert, is a chemist at Lexmark International and also works part time as the Director of Small Group Ministries at Harmony Christian Church. We have three daughters that attend PCA: Shelbi, Baili, and Mallori. As a family, we enjoy swimming, playing games, spending time with loved ones, and hanging out with our Harmony Christian Church Life Team.

Majored in Elementary Education at University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, and Western Kentucky University

Experience:

I taught at Mother's Day Out when it was first held at Faith Baptist Church for a total of 6 years. I also coordinated the evening MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group through my home church, Georgetown First Church of the Nazarene.

Interesting Facts:

I love to scrapbook and make cards. I once did a car commercial for a car dealership in Lousiville. Our house bleeds red for the U of L Cards!

Brief Biography:

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Before moving to Georgetown, I lived in Lexington for 6 years. I married my high school sweetheart, Bill, and we have two lovely daughters: Abbie and Emma. Bill and I will celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary this year. We are also very active in our home church, Georgetown First Church of the Nazarene.

I have worked in the children's program at Harmony Christian Church. I enjoy serving and being involved in Children's Ministries.

Interesting Fact:

I like to be involved in my children's activites, but when I have free time, I like to work out.
