Cindy Barnes,Chair

cindybarnes@pcageorgetown.org

Education:

Studied Accounting and Business Administration at Somerset Community College

Experience:

This is my 2nd year being involved with the PTF.

Interesting Fact:

I knew almost nothing about any sport until I met my husband, Jimmy. We are huge fans of the Bengals, Reds, and UK basketball.

Brief Biography:

I grew up in London, Kentucky but was born in Ohio. After graduating from high school in 1997, I moved to Spokane, Washington for about 9 months and missed home. I returned to Lexington and worked as an Administrative Assistant at a plumbing company where I met Jimmy. He and a partner own their own company in which I am the Office Manager. I also care for both of our children, Trey and Cailyn, while "working."

Kim Lynn, Vice Chair

kimlynn@pcageorgetown.org

Experience:

I was a Team Member at Toyota for 13 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I homeschooled my daughter, Rachael, until the 5th grade when she came to Providence.

Interesting Fact:

My daughter and I show rare breed dogs and raise exotic chickens.

Brief Biography:

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and grew up in Bullitt County where my family had a small farm. I moved to Georgetown in 1994, met my husband Willie around 1999, and got married in 2006. After my little sister passed away in 2007, we adopted my two little nieces: Amy Jo and Emily. Now our household has three girls, and we are expecting another little girl in October.

Missy Berryhill, Treasurer

missyberryhill@pcageorgetown.org

Education:

Attended University of Louisville, Jefferson Community College, and Monterey Peninsula College

Experience:

I have worked for the federal government for over 20 years. Currently, I am a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Marshals Service.

Interesting Fact:

I am serving on the PTF board because I believe it is important for parents and teachers to support their school. PCA is a great addition to the Scott County community and it needs the support of all its families.

Brief Biography:

I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After my husband, Bryan, and I were married, we moved to Monterey, California for 2½ years. We moved back to Kentucky and lived in Shepherdsville for 4 years and Shelbyville for 5 years before coming to Georgetown in 2003. We have 3 wonderful children: Kat, Blayne, and Savannah. We attend Victory Life Church in Georgetown.

My husband, Jarret, is an Engineer in Lexington and serves with the Kentucky Air National Guard Unit based in Louisville. He will be leaving in October for training.

Charlene Harris, Former Chair

charleneharris@pcageorgetown.org

Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Communications: Radio-TV-Film with Minor in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Evangel University

Experience:

I worked at Host Communications as a TV Producer for "The Slant," an NCAA football and basketball show on Fox Sports Net. This is my 4th year at PCA, and my 2nd year working in Leap & Grow.

Interesting Sports Facts:

I enjoyed having Cawood Ledford sit with me in the lunchroom cafeteria at Host Communications. In 1996, I interned in Green Bay, Wisconsin at a local Media Production Company and ended up being in the midst of a very wild time for that small town and their (my) beloved Packers (Super Bowl XXXI). Plus, I clearly remember being at Evangel's Student Union (Springfield, Missouri), during my sophomore year, watching a "Duke Fan" go nuts when Duke beat UK in the Eastern Regional Final in 1992. Little did I know that I would eventually live in Kentucky and know everything about that historic game.

Brief Biography:

I grew up in Wisconsin and Texas. I attended college in Springfield, Missouri where I met my husband, Jeff. In 1998, we chose to move to Kentucky after vacationing here a number of times. Jeff and I have 3 children: Jay, Cheney, and Delaney.
