PCA Annual Fund
Providence Christian Academy, like most private Christian schools, does not receive any significant financial support from local, state, or federal governments. Private schools rely on tuition, annual giving contributions, grants, or endowment income to meet their needs. At PCA, these funds are critical in making it possible for us to develop and implement new programs and educational approaches that best enable our children to achieve their personal best.
As PCA establishes annual fundraising goals, it is important that each family participate at a level commensurate with their financial ability throughout their tenure with our school.
With the help of dedicated volunteers, our business office directs our school’s fundraising efforts. The principal vehicle for contribution is:

Why does PCA ask for charitable support in addition to tuition? Although tuition and other program revenue fund the entire operating budget, school leadership is committed to expanding educational opportunities for students. For example; providing smart board technology to all classes, active response systems for students, enhanced technology integration, expanded athletic programs, math plus music, art programs and more.
How does my child benefit when I make a donation? Financial support beyond tuition sustains and enhances the ability of PCA to improve programs and facilities. For example, through the generous financial support of parents this past year PCA was able to launch a new school website, install a new gym floor and basketball hoop, adopt a standards-based technology curriculum that meets all International Standards for Technology Education (ISTE) and the National Education Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S), and PCA adopted a physical education curriculum (SPARKS PE) that exceeds our national standards.
Does everyone participate in the school’s annual fund campaign? 100% of our School Board, Administrators, Teachers and Staff have committed to donate to this year’s annual fund. We are seeking that amount of participation from our families also. We will establish an historical record this year and report to all our stakeholders at the State of the School Address next year.
How much am I expected to contribute to the Annual Fund? It is our hope that PCA will be one of your family’s top philanthropic priorities. We expect each family to give a personal gift based on their financial ability. We want each person to pray and give purposefully based upon the Lord’s direction and not out of compulsion. No gift is too small and no gift is too big. Let each person give cheerfully and according to their ability.
How can I make a gift to PCA? Gifts can be made in person or through the mail. We accept cash, check, credit card and gifts of stock. We also accept pledges or gifts made through corporate matching gift programs. Please contact Mr. White if you have any questions.

Ways to Give
There are many forms of giving that Providence Christian Academy is happy to accept, most commonly in the form of cash or check. You can give in person, via mail or phone. You can also give the gift of securities, personal property, or real estate. If you have an idea or special circumstances and desire to find a way to bless PCA however you feel led, we are willing to discuss opportunities and develop an individual plan with you. Kroger Card Rewards Program
PCA participates in the Kroger Card Reward program, which is an easy, no cost way to support our school. The program rewards PCA with a check every month; the total given back is 4% of all purchases made at Kroger using a PCA registered Kroger gift card. PCA has been blessed to have dedicated families using their Kroger gift card for all their Kroger purchases, and our school has received over $5000 to date. These gift cards can be purchased in the main office or from the business office for $5, and each card is preloaded with a $5 balance. Family, grandparents, friends, and neighbors can all participate using a PCA Kroger Gift Card at ANY Kroger location across the US. Please consider joining us in this effort to bring in FREE dollars to help PCA.
Box Tops/Labels for Education
Box Tops for Education® is one of the nation’s largest school fundraising loyalty programs and has been helping schools succeed since 1996. With over 250 participating products, it’s an easy way for schools to earn cash for the things they need. PCA is proud to be a part of the Box Tops for Education program as well as the Campbell’s Labels for Education programs. Each label or box top collected translates to free dollars paid back to our school. What may seem like a very small thing adds up to great rewards, in 10 cent increments!
Volunteering at PCA
Volunteers are a vital part of the success of PCA. Parents can volunteer in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, assisting in classrooms or the cafeteria, donating or securing items for teachers, helping on work days, attending field trips, as well as serving at organized PTF events such as the annual Scholastic book fair, the Festival of the Horse, the Christmas Program, and more.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
The general goal of the PCA-PTF is to glorify Christ, promote the welfare of the students through parental involvement in the school, and to strengthen coordination among parents, students, and the staff in order to encourage and support educational activities, and to further develop the educational resources of the school. There are a multitude of opportunities for service with the PTF. This organization not only benefits our school but also cultivates friendships and fellowship among our families. It is a great way to get to know some new and wonderful people.PTF Volunteer Form
